Anton
Hello! My name is Anton, and I’m an English teacher from the Czech Republic with a background in linguistics, philology, and art. I’ve been living in Japan for nearly three years. I understand the challenges of learning a new language and culture, so please don't be afraid to make mistakes and ask a lot of questions.
I’m passionate about Japanese history, especially the Sengoku Jidai and the Bakumatsu period, so if you have a favorite era of your own, I’d love to hear about it! I also love drawing anime, manga, and game characters, and I’d be happy if you could share your favorites with me.
I look forward to supporting you on your English journey.

Austin

Let's have fun with our lessons and have fun learning English.

Bryce
Hello, I’m Bryce, an English instructor from Australia. I’ve lived in Japan for the past 10 years and have a good understanding of the challenges involved in learning another language. I use this experience to help bridge the gap between Japanese and English in my teaching. I believe that asking questions and making mistakes in a relaxed environment is the best way to not only learn but also feel confident using a new language. I look forward to supporting you on this journey!

Patrick
Hello! I'm Patrick.
I'm from the United States of America.
I like running (I'm hoping to run the Kobe Marathon in November!) and snowboarding (I love it, but I'm not very good).
I studied International Politics at Penn State University, but after I graduated, I traveled to Peru for 4 months to get my TEFL/TESOL certification, and then I came to Japan to teach English. I helped to start KDA in 2015.
At KDA, you'll learn a lot of English and also so much more!
I'm so excited that we can bring together students from all over Japan to learn and grow with KDA Online!
